I’d spent years growing interest in my anxiety for my financial reality, occasionally tossing in a good tip or throwing out a bad habit, but mostly avoiding any routine, or meaningful management of my and my family’s future. Having made multiple unsuccessful attempts with various credible programs to right our financial wrongs throughout marriage. I had all but given up.
[L]ast week when I sent an online message and heard back from Chuck Mitchell. His reply to my initial message was free of judgment, directed to my need for financial definition and security; he conveyed empathy for my anxiety, and offered a reassurance that I could achieve real progress….Chuck met every concern I shared calmly, occasionally with humor, and in hindsight, stated facts that dispelled distorted thoughts and quelled my anxiety…. His manner was such that I was able to ask and answer questions about a distressing topic with ease. He was generous with his knowledge and skills and demonstrated a commitment to my financial success with very practical feedback and suggestions. He mentioned, and then reminded me, he is available for follow-up sessions and has already contacted me to expect a summary of our work and some suggestions of goals that we had discussed and, more importantly, that I believe are realistic. I know I have work to do, but I am no longer anxious. I am encouraged that with Chuck’s skills, support, along with my genuine motivation and willingness to look and work, I can and will make the changes required to direct and enjoy, rather than dread and avoid, my and my family’s financial future….
