You really need a Budget, and you know it. A personalized monthly Budget will help you track your money and make sure you pay the important bills (rent, food, school loans, etc.) first.
So why don’t you have a Budget? Most people do not know how to create one and think it is too complicated. Not true!
For only $149, the Financial Coach at Capital Budget Strategies, LLC, Austin’s best Financial Coach, will work with you one-on-one via Zoom Conferencing to come up with a Budget that pays your bills and debts and hopefully gives you some cash to take that new co-worker in accounting out for happy hour next week!
Don’t worry, we work together and go step-by-step, so you understand what is going on. Here is an example:
Suppose you take home $3,500 a month. Here is how a Budget would work:
STEP 1: First, designate a place for each of the 3,500 dollar bills you will bring home.
STEP 2: Put money aside for your essentials: Rent, food, utilities, Emergency Fund, etc.
STEP 3: Pay your debts and make sure it is more than the minimum! School loans, credit cards, car loans, etc.
STEP 4: Put a designated amount aside for long-term bills that will have to be paid at some point: car maintenance, clothes, holiday gifts, real estate taxes, pet care
STEP 5: After paying all the above important stuff (called “paying yourself first”), you now know how much is “left over” for your nonessential items: Happy hours, dinner dates, concerts, streaming services, etc.
STEP 6: A Budget will ensure that $3,500 came into the Budget and the $3,500 was designated a place and a job.
Without a Budget, you might spend too much on concerts one month, forget a car payment and not save any cash for new truck tires. That leads to credit cards and more debt.
Think of the extra cash you would have with no debt!
